Together with his wife Beth, Majk also plays ceilidhs. Bringing together fiddle tunes from Scotland, Ireland and Brittany and self-penned tunes and songs, they have garnered praise and enthusiasm and they are available for weddings and functions.
Between 2001 and 2013, Majk played and called ceilidhs with the Shingis McKingis ceilidh band. Blending traditional tunes and original compositions with a funk bass line and a driving, energetic rhythm, they performed across Scotland from Aberdeen to Dumfries and Galloway, as far south as Newcastle on Tyne and as far afield as Haugesund, Norway.
Majk has also played ceilidhs in England with the Odd One In ceilidh band and the Green Kite ceilidh band.
