Many moons ago, Majk worked in Madagascar on a gap year from university. While he was there, he acquired a djembe African drum, and since then he has taken part in various African drumming groups and facilitated drumming and rhythm workshops in the UK and abroad. He currently runs a monthly djembe group at Bridgend Farmhouse in Edinburgh.
